After obtaining his law degree, Marcel initially worked in the insurance business and as a doctorate decree assistant at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. A litigation lawyer since 1999, Marcel joined HerikVerhulst as a partner early 2020. Marcel’s main fields of expertise are transport law and insurance law. His approach is no-nonsense.

Marcel Koevoet has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

Pursuant to this registration, Marcel is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse orde van advocaten).
