Erick Hagendoorn

Employment

Erick joined the legal profession after serving in Iraq as part of the Netherlands' deployment of military personnel to the region. Erick has worked in the legal practice since 2011. Erick employs a thorough, analytical approach, as shown in his many publications and the doctoral research he is currently undertaking at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Thanks to his varied background, Erick is able to translate complex legal issues quickly and clearly into practical advice.

Pursuant to this registration, Erick is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse orde van advocaten).

Education

  • Dutch Law, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Master’s degree in Employment Law (2015)
  • Grotius specialisation course in Employment Law (2019, with honours)

 

Publications

Erick frequently publishes in legal journals. In addition, Erick is author of the chapter 'Special Remuneration Rules WNT' in SDU Commentary Employment Law Thematic.
